NL Expo LA28 enters new phase with appointment of operator, Tribe Company, Backbone International, and TwofiftyK!

LOS ANGELES – (March 11th, 2024) –

NL Expo // LA28 embodies the vision for a circular hub where the Netherlands unites its strengths to showcase innovative, creative, and impactful solutions to the world. It's a physical space in LA, leading up to and during the Games, where Dutch entrepreneurs, governmental bodies, the creative industry, sports sector, and others come together. After the 2028 Games, the building will be dismantled and repurposed for community projects in LA. The vision for NL Expo // LA28 was launched in the spring of 2023, initiated by Honorary Consul in Los Angeles, Reinout Oerlemans, in collaboration with NBSO LOS ANGELES led by Peter Post and GREENWAVE led by Ruben Dubelaar.

With the completion of the social business plan by REBEL Group in February 2024, a new phase begins where a private development team, referred to as the 'OPERATOR', will translate the vision and business plan into reality, in collaboration with the lead group financially supporting the initiative (KLM, Sportinnovator, NOVAMEDIA, Johan Cruijff Arena, PON, Mediamonks, TEAM NL, Papendal, Sorama, OSF, among others).
